Welcome to Sweden ICT and this matchmaking event for international talent!

This afternoon you will get a chance to learn more about what it is like to work in Sweden and what opportunities await here for you. Parallel to the digital matching sessions there will be an open program you can tune into where you meet representatives from different parts of the Swedish system as well as get advice from some talents who have already made the move and found their dream career. This will take place in Zoom and you can join and leave any time.

13.10 – 13.15 Introduction to Matchmaking, how does it work – moderator Carolina Olsson 

13.15 – 13.35 Being an international in Sweden” What is it like to study in Sweden? We meet Wang Tongxin, a current master student from KTH who is now setting out on a new career in Sweden, what are the experiences, thoughts and hopes for the future? 

13.35 – 13.45 Break

13.45 – 14.05 Presentation “CV guidance and How to write a cover letter” – The Eures advisors Mats Nilsson and Jerker Claesson from Arbetsförmedlingen will help you create the perfect CV to aid your search for your dream job.

14.05 – 14.15 Break

14.15 – 14.35 Interview + Presentation “Being an international in Sweden”. Sandra Knopik is an international talent who participated in a previous matchmaking event and landed a job at the startup company Grafrén. She shares her story and gives you her best tips.

14.35 – 14.45 Break

14.45 – 15.05 4th Interview + Presentation. We meet Lisa Andersson from Lund Citizen Hub who every day meet people from all over the world and help guide them into a new life in Sweden.

15.05 – 15.15 Break

15.15 – 15.35 5th Interview + Presentation “How companies work with international employees” We meet Kajsa Arvidsson from the company Seliro who will give you insight into Swedish companies and input into how to make the most of your opportunities

15.35 – 15.45 Break

 15.45 – 16.05 Interview “Working in Sweden” – With the help of Svenska Institutet you will meet the international student Hyunjin Nam who shares her experiences studying and working for a big company in Sweden.
